Train

Cliff's granddaddy worked for Seaboard Coastline.  We were entertained with many train stories.  I always wanted to get a picture with an engine coming toward me.  But I have a great respect for trains and would never get in front of one!  Well, not unless it was stopped.  Luckily the other day when we passed the track, one was sitting still.  I was able to get on the track for the photo.  So today I decided it was time for a train ride!
I have learned this month when you take a photo of your painting, it will show your mistakes immediately.  But I didn't do it.  It is a good lesson.  I will be so glad when I implement what I have learned!  When you think you are close to completion, take a photo and it will show you what to do next.  I need to soften the line between the gravel and the bush on the right side of the train.  It is obvious when you see the photo.  I will do it in the painting now.
There is one other thing I didn't see until I took the photo.  The Engineer is there on the left side! It gave me goose bumps!  Enjoy the ride!
Thank you for taking the time to view my work!  Please feel free to comment and share the link with your friends. Please come again!
