Glowing grass

DAY 9

I love going out in the pontoon boat and seeing all the changes in the shoreline. This was a beautiful clear day and the grasses were glowing.

The President and Mrs. Clinton invited Jennifer and her husband to the White House after one of her hand painted ornaments was chosen for display on the White House Christmas tree in the Blue Room.

Her work represents many years of hard work and she has studied with Master artists from Russia, Germany, England, Canada and America. Her travels to Central America as a missionary and to Russia and Europe are reflected on her canvas.

" You have to be willing to fail in order to paint beautifully. Every painting is not successful. You have to be willing to put miles of canvas behind you ... A few of those will be spectacular!"
